Returns Policy
RETURNS POLICY
Your legal rights
When you buy goods from a business, in law you have a number of rights as a consumer. These include
the right to claim a refund, replacement, repair and/or compensation where the goods are faulty or
misdescribed.
Our policy
In addition to your legal rights, we will also allow you to return goods if you simply change your mind.
Please return the goods with the original price ticket attached, in the same condition as purchased and
with the original receipt within 28 days from purchase and we will offer you an exchange or a refund.
This does not apply to jewellery, beauty products, lingerie, electrical goods and furniture.
Furniture
For furniture that fails to fit, an exchange or refund can be given by the shop where the furniture was
purchased within 5 days of the delivery or purchase date. The original receipt must be provided. The
item should be returned to the shop by the delivery team on the day of delivery. If the refund has not
been claimed after 5 days at the shop where purchased, it will be assumed that the item has been
donated back to the Hospice for sale. Delivery charges are non-refundable.
It is the customers responsibility to ensure that the furniture will fit the room and access points
(doorways, stairways, etc.) prior to buying. The delivery team are not permitted to remove doors or
disassemble furniture to gain access.
Furniture can be held for 24 hours to check size, fitting and access. After this time, the furniture will be
open for sale.
In the unfortunate situation that the furniture is damaged during delivery, you should contact the shop
manager whilst the delivery team are on site.
