Grief can often feel isolating, and finding a comfortable, safe space to reflect and talk about loss isn’t always straightforward. For many in our local community, stepping outside for gentle exercise and fresh air alongside others who understand can be the first step on their journey.

Our community bereavement Walk & Talks in Richmond Park provide an open, compassionate space to connect with others going through a similar experience, while enjoying a peaceful stroll in beautiful surroundings. Everyone in the community who has experienced bereavement is welcome.

The group, led by Princess Alice Hospice trained volunteers, meets twice a month at 10:15am for a gentle, hour-long stroll, followed by an optional warm drink and chat at Pembroke Lodge café. There is never any pressure to speak or to share your story; walking in comfortable silence is just as welcomed as talking.

If attending for the first time feels a little daunting, simply let us know when booking, and one of our team members will give you a friendly call beforehand so you already know someone when you arrive.
