Discover our new Wellbeing Series
What does wellbeing mean to you?
We’re delighted to launch our new Wellbeing Series, sharing the stories and experiences of our patients, their families and the people who support them, as well as members of our team, including Sophia, our Wellbeing Services Manager, and Liz from Community Engagement and Support.
Across the series, you’ll hear first-hand about the difference wellbeing support can make. In our first episode, Derek shares his experience of our Wellbeing Centre, a place he has affectionately nicknamed “the Smiling Palace”.
Episode 1: Derek’s story
Episode 2: John’s story
Episode 3: Meet Sophia and Liz
There are lots of ways to access wellbeing support at Princess Alice Hospice:
Our Wellbeing Centre
Our Wellbeing Centre offers a welcoming space, specialist support and a range of activities to help people living with life-limiting illnesses, and those close to them, live as fully and independently as possible. You can also now self-refer to our Wellbeing Centre.
Your wellbeing, your way
We’re also bringing wellbeing into the heart of our communities. Your Wellbeing, Your Way is our free, community-based programme, currently running in New Malden, for adults living with a life-limiting illness and the people who support them. There’s no referral needed, simply choose the sessions that are right for you.
If you’d like to find out more about whether our Wellbeing support at the Hospice or in the community could be right for you or someone close to you, our Wellbeing team would be happy to help.
