"Your Wellbeing, Your Way" is Princess Alice Hospice's community-based wellbeing programme, open to adults living with life-limiting illness and the people who support them.

Your wellbeing, your way

‘Your wellbeing, your way’ is a free six-week rolling programme designed to support adults living with a life-limiting illness, as well as their carers and family members, in the heart of our community. Each session offers practical information, some guidance and space to explore questions in a relaxed, friendly setting. There’s no referral needed and you can attend just one session or come along to the whole programme.

Following the success of the programme in New Malden, we’re exploring new venues and community spaces and are working to develop new activities and local partnerships that support wellbeing closer to where people live. We look forward to sharing updates on new locations and programmes as they become available. Watch this space for news about where we’ll be next!

Does attending these wellbeing sessions make me a Princess Alice Hospice patient?

No, joining us for “Your Wellbeing, your way” doesn’t make you a Princess Alice Hospice patient. If you ever need our wider hospice services, that would be through a separate referral process.

These sessions are all about creating a safe, welcoming space to explore wellbeing together, while offering the chance to connect with the hospice if that’s something that is right for you in the future.

The programme is non-clinical and supportive, focusing on topics like relaxation, planning, and emotional wellbeing. Here’s what that means for you:

  • We don’t provide individualised clinical advice or interventions during these sessions.
  • We aren’t involved in ongoing supervision, planning, or delegation of your care.
  • Referral to hospice services happens separately.

Our aim is simply to offer time and tools to help you feel supported and empowered to take care of Your wellbeing, Your way.
