Our Philanthropy team were delighted to host a networking breakfast at The Lensbury in Teddington in July. With the support of Trustee Darren Webb, we bought together local professional advisers, finance leaders and supporters to explore the future of hospice care in our community.

The morning formed part of our growing work to build trusted relationships across the professional advisory and philanthropic community, and to share how our Community Impact Fund will help us reach more people through a new model of care.

Guests heard from our Ambassador Debi Oliver, who shared the journey she and her family experienced when her daughter, Emily, was cared for by the Hospice. CEO of Princess Alice Hospice, Nigel Seymour, then led a panel discussion with Debi, Jason Hopkinson (Managing Director at Feed Factors Ltd) and Luke Savvas (Partner at Buzzacott), exploring philanthropy, influence and the role trusted advisers can play in opening meaningful conversations.

Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us, to The Lensbury for hosting us so beautifully, and to all those whose generosity, insight and connections continue to help shape what is possible.
