Every day, the generosity of our philanthropic partners is making an impact on the lives of local people - in our Hospice, in homes, and across our communities. We already deliver outstanding care, but we cannot stand still while 2 in 3 people who need us miss out.

For over 40 years, we’ve provided free, outstanding, compassionate palliative and end-of-life care across the London Boroughs of Kingston and Richmond and a large part of Surrey, supporting local people and their loved ones through some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

Despite this, thousands of people every year are missing out on support that could ease pain, reduce crisis, and bring comfort and dignity to them and their loved ones.

Together, we can change this - because no one in our community should face illness, dying or grief alone.

  • Our vision is that everyone in our communities should have the best possible care and support before, during and after death. With the right care and support, more people can live well, die well and grieve well.

    To achieve this, we must:

    • Extend our reach to more people
    • Evolve our role in the wider healthcare system
    • Engage with more underserved communities to provide the care they need

  • To enable this transformation, we are establishing a Community Impact Fund to invest £1 million into building a new model of care over the next 3 years.

This fund will enable us to strengthen our core services and unlock the innovation and redesign needed to transform how end‑of‑life care is delivered across our communities. We want far more local people to receive the right care, in the right place and at the right time.

  • By investing into our Community Impact Fund, you will be helping us to:

Create easier routes into our care

We’ll design, test and implement new ways for people to access the right level of support at the right time, reducing crisis and enabling earlier intervention.

Develop a new Community Model of Care

We’ll build sustainable, scalable services that expand our reach across the whole community, ensuring more people receive timely, personalised support.

    Strengthen our In-Patient Unit Capacity

We’ll care for more people with complex needs on our In-Patient Unit and provide vital support for families and carers.

Our vision is that everyone in our communities should have the best possible care and support before, during and after death. With care and support that’s right for them, more people can live well, die well, grieve well.

"Together, we have a rare opportunity to reshape end-of-life care for over one million people across the London Boroughs of Kingston and Richmond and a large part of Surrey, both now and for generations to come."

- Nigel Seymour, Chief Executive, with Claire, Michelle and Rebecca from our Fundraising and Philanthropy teams.
