This year, we’re proud to be part of Pride in Surrey on Saturday 6 September! From 11am, 15 of our amazing volunteers will join the parade, celebrating diversity, inclusion, and the strength of community. Alongside the march (from 12pm), we’ll be hosting a vibrant retail pop-up shop, filled with fabulous clothing and accessories—perfect for showing your colours!

We’re also inviting everyone to take part in our Community Quilt of Love, Loss & Legacy on the day. Visitors can decorate a square of fabric in memory of someone they’ve loved and lost—family, friend, pet, or chosen family. Each square will then be stitched together into a powerful living quilt, a shared tribute to love, remembrance, and resilience.

For us as a hospice, Pride is more than an event—it’s a chance to live our values of integrity, compassion, accountability, respect and excellence. With compassion, we walk alongside people in their grief and joy. With respect, we embrace every person’s story, honouring individuality and identity. Pride gives us the opportunity to connect with the LGBTQ+ community, listen deeply, and affirm that our care is for everyone.
