Day Services Programme

Day Hospice: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 10am – 3pm

Should you require the support of the multi-professional team you will be invited to attend our Day Hospice once a week or once a fortnight.  The service provides a variety of clinical and social activities, including a cooked lunch.  Day Hospice will provide support for your physical, psychological, spiritual and social needs and it can also be beneficial in providing respite for carers.  You will normally be expected to attend for eight weeks – after which reviews take place to assess the most appropriate way of continuing to support you.

Being Active: Thursday morning

Our specialist exercise and falls prevention group is run by a physiotherapist and aims to help you remain as independent as possible.

Being Social: Thursday morning

Meet with other people facing similar challenges in a welcoming and supportive environment.  Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided, you can take the opportunity of having a cooked lunch in the dining room afterwards at your own cost.
