Learning resource centre

 

The Learning Resource Centre (LRC) houses an extensive collection of material on all aspects of palliative care, death and bereavement.

Our resources include:

  • A specialist book and journal collection
  • Quiet study space
  • Two networked PCs with printing facilities
  • Access to a photocopier

There is a collection of several thousand full-text electronic journals available to Hospice staff and to students on placement.
You will need an NHS OpenAthens username and password to access the online resources:

Library services are available to all staff, volunteers and students at Princess Alice Hospice.

Members of the public are welcome to use the LRC by appointment with the Librarian. All patrons must fill out the membership form before accessing LRC resources and services:

When is the LRC open?

A qualified librarian is available Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 2:30pm, and the Library is open from 7:30am to 8pm.
