  • Swim Serpentine

  • Thank you for your interest in taking part in Swim Serpentine for Princess Alice Hospice.

    Swim Serpentine takes place on Saturday 17 September 2022. Organised by London Marathon Events, the festival is held in and around the beautiful Serpentine in Hyde Park, the venue for the open water swimming competition at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

    Things to know before filling out this form.  You must be 12+ to complete this form.

    Half-Mile swim: Age 12+  on day of event Min sponsorship £250        

    An achievable, but for some still challenging, swim – ideal for those who are new to open water swimming.

    One Mile swim: Age 16+ on day of event Minimum Sponsorship £350 

    Covering one full lap (1.6K) of the Serpentine, swimmers can take anywhere between 20 minutes and one hour to complete this distance.

    Two Mile swim: Age 16+ on day of event Minimum Sponsorship £500 - our 2 mile places are currently sold out but if you’re keen to do this distance then do get in touch with us (01372 461808 or supportercare@pah.org.uk) as we might be able to help.

    Aimed at more experienced swimmers who’ve previously completed a one-mile open water swim, the two-mile swim is also one of the events that makes up the London Classics challenge – visit the London Classics website to find out more.

    Your wave time on the day will be allocated in advance.

    Once you have signed up you agree to reach 70% of the sponsorship total before the day of the event and to have raised 100% after the event.
