Greatest ever London Marathon!

Tuesday 25 April After a record number of runners crossed the Start Line of the Virgin Money London Marathon on Sunday 23 April, more than 39,400 completed the gruelling 26.2 mile journey from Blackheath to Westminster, making the 37th edition of the race the biggest in its history by 347 runners. Another hole-in-one for the Hospice

Princess Alice Hospice thanked the amazing golfers of St George’s Hill Golf Club for their loyal and unstinting support at a cheque presentation on Friday 31 March 2017.

New sensory rooms are now open

Thanks to generous donations from two Trusts, a local donor and the Hospital Saturday Fund, we have been able to renovate two of our existing ward rooms to create fantastic sensory rooms.

Stuntman Rocky’s Golfing Challenge Raises Vital Funds

Hollywood stuntman, Rocky Taylor, visited Princess Alice Hospice at the end of November to present a cheque for £5,606 raised by holding a special “return match” charity golf tournament.

HM The Queen honours Bereavement Service volunteers

Her Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant of Surrey, Mr Michael More-Molyneux, visited Princess Alice Hospice in Esher on Friday 25 November to present the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service to the Bereavement Service volunteers at an event hosted by Nicki Shaw, Chief Executive and Dr Peter West, who was representing the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Professor Fiona Ross CBE.
