We are looking for someone with experience in retail or in a customer focussed role; team players with hands-on style to complement our existing team of staff and volunteers.

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Customer Service Administrator to join our busy, established and expanding Distribution Centre.

The role involves assisting with the booking and administration of furniture collections and deliveries using an internal telephone system. Office procedures and resources are IT based and at commercial standards.

You must be computer literate with good Microsoft Excel and Word skills. You will also be articulate, with excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner. Experience of working in a logistics environment would be desirable.

Princess Alice Hospice has, for more than 30 years, provided free, high quality, specialist end of life care to tens of thousands of people across a large part of Surrey, south west London and Middlesex. Today, at any one time, Hospice nurses, doctors and other specialist staff are looking after more than 800 people in need. The Hospice now has a new mission: to reach out to even more people by delivering outstanding care to those that need it. To enable us to do this we will rely on the commitment and support of our communities who help us raise vital funds.

Our Princess Alice Hospice at Home services bring the skills and expertise of our team of highly-trained professional straight into our patient homes giving them, their families and carers access to the vital support they need.

We are looking for experienced and versatile Specialist Nurses/Practitioners with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, to join our Hospice at Home team.

You will work closely with the clinical nurse specialists to support specific developments within the team aimed at ensuring more people achieve their preferred place of care.

You should have a relevant degree or diploma or be in the process of undertaking one. Palliative care or oncology experience is essential.

We are looking for a research professional with a health and social care background to lead the research agenda at Princess Alice Hospice and maintain our position as a leading research hospice.

If you are the right person you will have the expertise to manage research in collaboration with others or independently and to see them through from initiation to dissemination.

You will work with an established Education and Research team to promote the development of evidence based practice in end of life care.

Senior Healthcare Assistant (Hospice at Home)

£19,830 – £21,835 per annum pro rata, Equivalent to AfC Band 3

About the role

We are looking for experienced and versatile Senior Healthcare Assistants with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with the clinical nurse specialists to support specific developments within the team aimed at ensuring more people achieve their preferred place of care. You will support our core business but also support commissioned projects across our catchment area.

You must have experience of working within a nursing team on an In-patient Unit and/or in the Community and be able to demonstrate evidence of commitment to developing skills and knowledge in specialist palliative care. Experience of nursing terminally ill patients is also essential. You may be required to work flexibly across the seven day working week but you will not be required to work nights
