At the interview
At the interview, you will be asked some questions that relate to your own professional experience.
When thinking about the answer, you can refer to the following STAR Method. This technique is designed to help you to formulate clear and relevant answers. For example, you may be asked to provide details or descriptions of a time when you’ve experience a certain situation or challenge, what steps you took to deal with it and what the outcome or results were.
STAR can be used to answer such questions – each letter stands for a part of your answer.
S (Situation): Describe the context of the job, task or challenge that you faced. Be specific
T (Task): Explain your duty or responsibility in that situation. What was the goal?
A (Action): Describe how you completed the task or addressed the challenge. Focus on your actions
R (Result): Discuss the outcome or results directly resulting from your actions. Highlight any achievements and lessons learned.
