We can supply envelopes to use at a funeral or memorial service, which can be personalised with the name of the person being remembered. The envelopes contain information about the Hospice and the option to donate safely by card or cheque.
Remember a loved one
Ways to commemorate your loved one
For some, supporting a charity in memory of a loved one can help with the grieving process. Donating to a cause, or dedicating a fundraising effort can be a good way to celebrate the life and legacy of a loved one.
Choose your way to pay tribute
There are several ways that you, your family and friends can donate towards our work – if you have any questions let us know and we’ll be happy to discuss any of them with you.
Set up a JustGiving page
This is an easy way for friends and family to make donations. The page can stay up for as long as you wish, so people can continue donating in the future, or even organise fundraising events in memory of your loved one.
If you’ve lost someone special to you, one of our Tribute Funds is a wonderful way to celebrate their life, while helping us to support other families when they need it most.
As your own special tribute, this online page can become a place of comfort to visit at any time or place, in order to help you remember and reflect. You can do many things including posting stories, favourite pictures, videos and memories, or lighting a candle. You can also collect donations if you want to fundraise in memory of your loved one.
Anyone can contribute and, however you choose to donate – sponsored or celebration events, a regular gift, a JustGiving page or whatever works for you – it all adds to the same fund, allowing you to see just how much has been raised for the hospice in memory of your loved one.
Light up a Life
Every year, we hold our annual Light up a Life service. It is a very beautiful and moving occasion for families and friends to share memories and make dedications to their loved ones. If you have lost a loved one in the last 12 months, you will be invited to the event.
You can remember the life of a loved one – at any time – by leaving a message and maybe a photo on our ‘Make memories live on’ memory wall.
