A feather on our Giving Dove is a very special way to commemorate your loved one while also providing much needed income for our vital work supporting our patients, their carers and families.
Our Dove has been created for us by local artist, Oliver Russell. Working closely with our in-house team, he has produced a beautiful bespoke metal work sculpture that reflects the essence of our work and care.
A prominent feature in our main reception our Giving Dove will always be available to patients, relatives, visitors and staff to view at any time. It will be a very special way for families to commemorate their loved ones and to provide much needed income for the Hospice.
A feather with the name of your loved one
As a local charity we depend on our supporters to keep our doors open. Without your support we simply wouldn’t be able to provide our compassionate support and care.
By sponsoring a feather to be engraved and placed on the Giving Dove you can both commemorate a loved one cared for by your local Hospice and help us in our ongoing work.
You can choose from three different sizes of feathers. Every feather will be a unique piece of art. We will engrave it with your loved one’s name and place it on the dove for twelve months. After that, you can decide whether to have your feather returned to you to keep or you can choose to make another donation to keep it on the dove for a further twelve months. You can choose to sponsor a feather with a monthly donation for twelve months or in a single donation.
