First of our Santa Fun Runs a big success
Monday 28 November
Hundreds of Santas jogged, walked, wiggled and giggled across 5km in our annual Santa Fun Run in Bushy Park on Sunday 27 November. Cheered on by family and friends, along with Hospice staff and fantastic volunteers, the Santas all contributed to making the event a huge success on a cool crisp afternoon.
“I thoroughly enjoyed my first Santa Fun Run”, says Ben White. “It was a great event to be part of and a lovely way to remember my Aunty Irene and fundraise for the Hospice that cared for her so brilliantly in 2015.”
Mums, dads, grandparents and children – people of all ages – with varying levels of ability and experience were there laughing and chatting and enjoying the occasion.
The event at Bushy Park was the first of three 5km Santa Fun Runs for the Hospice, with a further two runs taking place at Richmond Park on Sunday 4 December at 10.30am and 12.30pm.
So with Christmas lights going on in the High Street, with TV adverts beaming in living rooms and office parties gathering why not grab a Santa Suit and launch yourself into the festive season by joining in!
