Nicki with Jane and Roger Formby smiling at the cameraThe evening of drinks and canapés was organised as a thank you to donors who have made significant donations over the past few years and to ask for input and feedback about the delivery of our new strategy. We have identified three key opportunities for funding from this work, which we believe will make a real impact in improving and expanding our reach in the future:

1. Supporting bereaved children and families through the Hospice’s DOVES giving group.

2. Aiding the expansion of the European Certificate of Essential Palliative Care (ECEPC) team with the aim of broadening and growing the reach of the course.

3. Funding our work to achieve fair access to all our services, through a dedicated role.

Chair of the Board of Trustees, Professor Sean Hilton, told us: “We greatly value the support we receive and thank all of our supporters for their donations. These key projects will make a real impact on our plans to improve our care and support in the future and we would be delighted to discuss any interest in funding these programmes further.”
