We think the smiles said it all! Shortly after Volunteers’ Week in June this year, we welcomed over 100 of our dedicated volunteers – we have well over 1,000 in total – to the Hospice for afternoon tea, as a thank you for everything they do for us.

Our Chief Executive, Nicki Shaw, was delighted to give out long service awards and the event was a chance for everybody to catch up over delicious scones, cakes and fruit punch. Thank you to all our amazing volunteers!

We have almost 100 different volunteering roles in place across the organisation, in the Hospice, in our shops or in the wider community. Whether you have a few hours a year or a few hours a week, we’d love to hear from you. Volunteering is a great way to share and learn new skills, make new friends and become an integral part of Princess Alice Hospice and our work with patients and their families.

If you would like to find out more about how you can join us, email volunteering@pah.org.uk, we’d love to hear from you.
