For the first time in our history, we were delighted to host two Light Up A Life Services of Remembrance last year, one in the usual venue of our Hospice grounds, the other in a new community setting, at Richmond and Hillcroft Adult Community College.

Both services were well-attended and we received many positive comments from people who attended. At the Hospice, the lights of our beautiful tree were lit up by Mike and his three young children, whose wife and mum died at home under our care.

We were pleased to be able to welcome people in the community who lived closer to Richmond and Hillcroft Adult Community College or who were unable to travel to the Hospice, and it was lovely to receive their positive feedback about the event being more convenient – or more accessible – for them.

A sincere thank you to everybody involved in making both our services so special for everyone, and to everyone who kindly donated to the Hospice on the day.
