This year we are holding a Christmas Market in the grounds of the Hospice. As well as a wide range of festive products, gifts and refreshments, we'll have a silent auction featuring some wonderful items donated by our generous supporters.

Our silent auction feaures several items – if you’d like to bid on any item in advance, please email events@pah.org.uk by 3pm on Thursday 25 November 2021 with your maximum bid and which item your bid relates to, or enter your bid at the market itself (4-8pm on Thursday 25 November 2021). We will notify successful bidders on Friday 26 November 2021.

Fortnum and Mason Christmas Treat Hamper – kindly donated by Hamptons of Esher

Lift the lid and discover all manner of Fortnum’s favourites, sure to come in handy throughout the big day.

Begin the day with a dollop of our wonderfully aromatic and spiced Cognac Butter on hot-buttered toast – delicious alongside your morning glass of bubbly. Eating sweet treats is acceptable at any time of the day during the festive season, so why not enjoy your mid-morning cup of Christmas Black Spiced Tea with our Christmas Orange & Dark Chocolate Biscuits? Twist this tin to unleash an exceptionally merry tune for the whole family to sing along to.

After the turkey has been devoured and the crackers pulled, set your St James Christmas Pudding alight and, if you’ve still got room, enjoy it with a dollop of Cognac Butter. Finally, pour yourself a glass of Fortnum’s Claret and pass around a drum of our delicious Marc de Champagne Truffles, a perfectly sweet end to a perfect Christmas Day.

The Surrey Hills is home to a wonderful array of rural enterprises with a diverse range produce, crafts, activities and places to stay.  Many of these are part of Surrey Hills Enterprises and who share the same love of the Surrey Hills and belief in the key values of sustainability, quality and local provenance.

A group of these organisations have come together to create a beautifully curated advent calendar that showcases the diverse businesses and stunning products produced and available in the Surrey Hills.  At a time when ‘Buying Local’ is so important as the economy recovers after recent events, this advent calendar is being distributed to charities and notable people within Surrey, who will become advocates for this.

Gemma from Puremess who is this year’s Surrey Hills Gold Trademark winner Puremess wins 2021 Gold Trade Mark Surrey Hills Award has been the person behind making this advent calendar happen.  She has worked tirelessly to create this beautiful offering from 25 companies located in the Surrey Hills.  Gemma is tirelessly selfless and is always finding ways to support the wider Surrey Hills members and collaborating in new and exciting ways.  Gemma is very humble but her efforts are not going unnoticed as this advent calendar is certainly a beautiful gift to receive with some amazing items, the whole calendar worth in excess of £350.
