Kitty and her mum, Victoria, have very strong emotional ties to the Hospice. They have lost four relatives under our care: Victoria’s mum, dad, brother and sister, and they are passionate about finding ways to support us.
kitty in her running vestLast year, Kitty decided to train for the London Marathon and is currently fundraising for us, including recently, when she hosted a quiz to raise funds at a bar in London Bridge. Victoria will be coming back to the Hospice in May to undertake training that will allow her to volunteer with our Compassionate Neighbour team; she feels she can bring listening skills and empathy to other people who are experiencing grief and bereavement.

Earlier this week, Kitty and Victoria returned to the Hospice to collect Kitty’s running vest for the Marathon, which takes place on 21 April:
