How many people do you come into contact with?

Lots. Too many to mention!

Meeting patients, getting to know them and mentoring new staff. Supporting care agencies to deliver dignified care.

What’s the most interesting thing about your job?

Every day is different and I meet the most incredible people.

The huge area that our small team covers. We cover the whole of the Hospice’s care area. Approx. 600 sq miles.

What skills do you need to do your job?

You need to be compassionate, caring, empathetic, patient, be a good listener and be prepared for anything

Who have you learned the most from at the Hospice?

The patients, the whole Hospice at Home team and a past colleague I was working with.

Is there anything boring about your role??

No
