For every £1 donated:

Like all charities, we have to spend money to raise money – including sending out appeals for donations, staging our fundraising events and writing to our supporters twice a year, to let them know how their gifts are helping. This vital spending adds up to just 11p in every £1 donated.  And for every £1 we spend on fundraising, we get £5.79 back.

Essential spending on management and administration - covering our governance, central support costs (including finance, human resources and IT) and overall management – adds up to only 5p of every £1 donated.
