CarersAre you one of the 6 million people providing care to loved ones in the UK? Do you have friends or patients who are looking after loved ones who are approaching the end of their lives? Whether you are currently helping to care for a loved one or know of someone who might benefit from finding out more, please ask the Princess Alice Hospice team for further information. We have specialists from the Hospice on hand who will be delighted to chat through your concerns and provide information on a wide range of subjects. These include GP services, spiritual and emotional support and bereavement counselling. Perhaps you would be interested in joining a Carers Group, the meetings are an opportunity to meet people who may have been in a similar position; sometimes sharing insights and thoughts can be really helpful. We want to learn more about the needs of carers and their loved ones so that we can develop our own services. The team is looking forward to meeting you and hearing your feedback on services and all views on your experience as a carer.
