Fundraising volunteers

Our fundraising forms a vital part of the daily life of the Hospice.

It gives people in our community the chance to get involved in fundraising events and raise much needed funds.  To make our events and campaigns fun, safe and financially successful we need fundraising volunteers! We have various and varied roles but all are vital and important.

Volunteer roles include:

• Stewarding at our midnight walks and Santa fun runs
• Stuffing envelopes for event mailings
• Selling raffle tickets

We have a group of dedicated and long standing Friends Committees who have made a vital and lasting contribution to the Hospice for over 25 years! The members organise events throughout the year to raise funds and awareness of the Hospice.

There are currently eight active fundraising committees in the following areas: Claygate, Cobham and Oxshott, Epsom, Esher, Richmond, Spelthorne, Thames Ditton and Molesey and Walton and Weybridge.

We also have a growing group of younger fundraisers called Friends Extra and new members are needed, so if you find yourself too old for Rotaract and too young for the WI, why not join the team and help create fun, vibrant and glamorous events!
