Trustees and Committee Members
Can you make a difference to one of the largest UK Hospices?
Already a leading hospice supporting over 2,500 people a year, the Board now has plans to further develop community services and to be recognised as being at the forefront of End of Life Care provision. We have recently restructured and increased funding for Education services, a key element of our activity.
The Board has set a balanced budget for 2010/11 and the charity is financially stable. As part of its two yearly cycle of trustee and committee recruitment, the Board wishes to attract individuals who have expertise in clinical, public relations, investment, finance or retail backgrounds.
The Trustees are responsible for developing strategy, providing leadership and directing the Hospice towards achieving its mission. The positions are non-executive voluntary roles and therefore unpaid, but nevertheless extremely rewarding. The Board is seeking individuals who can devote a few hours each month and use their energy and passion to help Princess Alice Hospice make a real difference to End of Life Care.
To apply, please provide a covering letter telling the Board how the Hospice would benefit from your expertise and a CV addressed to Nicholas Woolf, Chairman, Princess Alice Hospice, West End Lane, Esher, Surrey KT10 8NA.
For further information please contact Nicholas Ratsey, Chief Executive on 01372 461820 or e-mail nicholasratsey@pah.org.uk Website: www.pah.org.uk
