- Jewellery, watches, clocks and musical instruments
- China, glass, collectables, artwork and household items
- Books, vintage annuals & magazines, CDs, Vinyl records, Videos, DVDs, toys and games
- Curtains and other soft furnishings
And also at the Furniture shop:
- Usable items of Furniture
- Table lamps
- Hi Fi equipment
- White goods
- Other household and some specialist electrical goods (phone the shop for details)
We test and label all electrical goods before we sell them
The best way to donate anything to us is to put them in bags or boxes and bring them into the nearest shop during opening hours. You can park outside most of our shops and round the back of some for easy unloading. You can now add 28% to the value of anything we sell that you have donated by filling in a Gift Aid declaration. We also have a clothing bank in the car park of Sunbury Cross shopping centre for 24 hour donations of clothing and textiles. We can collect large items of Furniture from you. Phone our furniture donations number to arrange this.
High Value Donations
Our shop managers are trained to spot items of special value and know how to sell them at the best price. They will also welcome your advice on the value of your donation. If you are hesitant to take something of special value to a shop phone our retail office 01372 461955 or email for advice on where to donate it. Special donations can sell in the price range £200 to £500 in some of our shops.
Foreign Currency, Stamps and Mobile Phones
We collect unwanted foreign currency and mobile phones and convert these to cash. Stamps are sorted and sold to collectors. You can donate currency, mobiles or stamps at your nearest shop. There is a collection bin for currency near the till in most shops.
Textile Recycling
We sell large volumes of lower quality or unsaleable clothing, textiles, shoes, belts and bags for recycling. This raises over £130,000 each year for the Hospice. You can help increase this income by giving us your unsaleable clothes (not soiled items), in a separate bag from anything else. Please donate these at the shops or clothing bank. Our shop managers will advise and also provide special sacks for recyleable goods. We can’t recycle or sell quilts, pillows and cushions.
